Mariangela had a vision for building a small business that delivered strategic and innovative design solutions. From that dream, Mariart was born in 1998, beginning a two decade-long adventure that’s still going strong. Mariangela’s drive and creativity delivers solutions that challenge conventional marketing ideas and gets results. She engages with clients at all levels, committed to ensuring they receive the highest level of service. This focus on forming meaningful relationships, founded on a genuine care and commitment, and market savvy, practical advice, has seen Mariart build a loyal client base that includes some of Australia and New Zealand’s most exciting and innovative brands.

After completing her design degree at the Edinburgh College of Art, Alison moved to Australia, where she refined her skills working in in-house and freelance roles. As Mariart’s Studio Manager, she combines her design knowledge and organisational skills, to manage our workflow and schedule, as well as client liaison. Alison’s focus, always, is on making sure we deliver on brief, and on time. She enjoys keeping her hand in design and supporting clients to manage their digital and social media channels.

Lee is an experienced graphic designer who has worked in a number of Brisbane design studios, developing creative for high profile projects. Now, as Mariart’s Art Director, he draws on this experience, working closely with the design team to deliver creative excellence. Lee loves to be challenged creatively and technically, and he’s a perfectionist. He pays attention to every detail, only satisfied when designs are at their conceptual and visual peak. An approach that guarantees outstanding results for Mariart clients.

Mark’s career in brand management and design spans more than 25 years. He’s worked with some of Australia’s most loved brands and organisations including Myer, International Cricket Council and the Queensland Museum. It’s this rich mix of experience and his thirst for exploring new ideas and technology, that ensures Mariart clients benefit from the latest, most creative thinking. An expert in delivering exceptional visual concepts which evolve into brilliant brands and promotional materials, Mark’s skills extend to illustration, video production and 3D graphics.

Willi has a background in both marketing and design, and a blend of agency and freelance experience across a wide range of industries, including mining and real estate. Willi uses his skills and expertise to deliver attention-grabbing design across every medium – from digital to print. His passion is creating designs that have maximum visual impact, having mastered the essential arts of photo editing, composition and layout. While his unwavering commitment to brand integrity ensures our clients can be confident their brand is in safe hands.

Michael brings more than 10 years’ experience in website design and system development to the Mariart team. The perfect complement to our creative design team, Michael has the technical know-how that enables us to deliver well-designed, user-friendly websites with exceptional functionality for our clients. It’s all down to Michael’s wide-ranging skill set, which ranges from complete customisation and personalisation of new websites to modifications or extensions to existing sites and systems. Skills he’s honed working on web solutions for several international organisations including the World Wildlife Foundation.

Janelle specialises in business and marketing strategy, competitive positioning and reputation management. She applies the highest level of strategic thinking, while developing effective and compelling tactical responses. Janelle works with small and large businesses across the public, private and not-for-profit sections. She has the proven ability to navigate complexity, bring clarity and creativity, and deliver real results in local and global markets.

Bruce has been involved in printing for as long as he can remember. He was born into a family-owned printing business and has been working in the Queensland printing industry for 30 years. He has a wealth of experience and strong relationships with pre-press and printing companies, and is a specialist in graphic reproduction, pre-press, press checking and finishing. He is Chairman of Judging for the Queensland Print Industry Craftmanship Awards (PICA).

Darren has that rare combination of creativity and business acumen that enables him to develop innovative business strategies for clients. He has been behind the launch of literally thousands of business concepts into competitive markets including retail, tourism, entertainment, arts, recruitment and fitness. His extensive experience working in the finance, insurance and banking sectors informs his practical approach to planning, and his ideas can immediately be actioned to achieve better commercial results.
